Our Transport Facilities & Declaration
The school transport system is provided to enable students to travel to and from school safely and conveniently. However, the school does not undertake responsibility for providing bus facilities in every area.
Students wishing to use the school transport facility must complete a Transport Declaration Form, which can be collected from the school's Transport In-Charge.
Parents and students are requested to confirm the availability of a suitable route and stop with the Transport Department before opting for the transport facility.

Our Bus Routes
Gitanjali Public School operates an extensive network of bus routes covering major areas around the school and nearby localities.
Students wishing to use the school transport facility must complete a Transport Declaration Form, which can be collected from the school's Transport In-Charge.
The availability of a transport facility depends on the existing routes and designated stops. The school does not guarantee bus facilities in every area.

Parents are requested to contact the Transport Department / Transport In-Charge.
Important Regarding Route Changes:
- No requests are entertained for changing existing routes or stops through routine queries.
- Any temporary or permanent change to a student's pick-up/drop-off point or route must be requested through the school's Transport Department.
- The school reserves the right to deny or modify the use of a particular bus or transport arrangement whenever necessary.
Our Transport Fare
01. Distance-Based Fee
The total transport fee is determined according to the distance travelled.
02. Annual Transport Fee
Transport fees are charged for 12 months annually.
03. Quarterly Payment
The transport fee is payable on a Quarterly basis.
04. Part-Month Usage
Part usage of the transport facility during a month is counted as a full month for fee purposes.
05. Discontinuation of Transport
To discontinue the transport facility, parents must submit a written application one month in advance.
The transport dues for the withdrawal month must be paid as applicable.
06. Changes in Transport

Any temporary or permanent change in the student's:
- Pick-up point
- Drop-off point
- Bus route
- Transport arrangement
must be requested through the school's Transport Department.
Our Transport Rules
01. Student & Staff Access
School buses are exclusively for students and teachers/staff with the appropriate authority or consent.
Parents are not permitted to board the school bus for personal reasons.
02. Safe Boarding
Parents should not overtake or stop a school bus to facilitate boarding. Such actions may endanger the safety of the bus and its occupants.
Students must use the designated boarding arrangements and follow the instructions of the transport staff.
03. Student Identity Card
Students must carry their Student Identity Card while travelling by school bus.
04. Be at the Bus Stop on Time
Students must be present at the correct side of their designated bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus.
05. No Waiting for Latecomers
School buses will not wait for latecomers.
Students are therefore expected to reach their designated bus stop on time.
06. Allotted Bus
Students must return home using their allotted bus and should not change buses without proper authorisation.
07. Seating Arrangement
Boys and girls will sit separately in the school bus.
Students must be seated immediately after boarding and should remain properly seated during the journey.
08. Food
Food will not be allowed to become a reason for the bus to make an unscheduled stop.
Students should follow the school's instructions regarding food and conduct while travelling.
09. Entrance & Exit
The front door is the authorised entrance and exit of the school bus.
Students should use the designated entrance and exit and follow the instructions of the transport staff.
Parent Responsibilities
Parents are requested to:
- Ensure that their child reaches the designated bus stop on time.
- Ensure that the student carries their Student Identity Card.
- Avoid stopping or overtaking school buses.
- Follow the designated pick-up and drop-off arrangements.
- Inform the Transport In-Charge in advance if they intend to take their ward privately instead of using the allotted bus.
- Contact the Transport Department for any authorised change in transport arrangements.
- Avoid boarding the school bus unless specifically authorised.
Transport Complaints & Assistance:
If any problem or concern arises regarding the school transport facility, parents may submit a written complaint to the Transport In-Charge.
For transport-related assistance, parents may contact the school's Transport Department regarding route availability, designated stops, changes in transport arrangements or other transport-related concerns.
